We are very pleased to bring a unique 1972 Lamborghini Espada S II to the market.

This Espada is a 3-owner, low-mileage and unrestored example in outstanding condition.

In 1972, the car was delivered to its first owner Jan C. Butts in the USA.
He specified the car in the rare and beautiful color "Verde Pallido Acrilico" with senape leather. In the same year Jan Butts also bought a brand new Miura SV from the Lamborghini dealership. He went on to keep and cherish both vehicles side-by-side for 34 years until he passed away in February 2006. At that time, both Lamborghinis had a mileage of 19,000 miles and were in pristine original condition.
In September 2006, the original owner’s estate sold the Espada to a Munich-based collector.
There the Lamborghini was part of an important collection and shared its the garage with a Miura once again.
In early 2015, the Espada was purchased by the third and current owner.
Today the recorded total mileage is just 39,000 km and the vehicle is still in fantastic original condition with a perfectly preserved first interior.
95.000 Euro have just been spent on the car's mechanics including a full engine rebuild by an Italian marque specialist with all invoices on file. The Espada drives beautifully and of course retains its original engine.
The car’s dossier is very extensive and, in addition to maintenance records, includes numerous original documents, manuals, brochures as well as the original paintwork and leather samples.

The car can be inspected in Munich by appointment.
